The founding of Fauna Rae is my return back home. 

For far too much of my life, I have tried to deny the fact that I am an artist. However, creativity has always been with me. It's woven through the women who raised me; how they dressed, the way they lived, how they saw the world and the lessons they passed down. Their influence taught me long ago what it means to build a life entirely your own.

My mother was a force to be reckoned with. She was fire and she was fierce, but she was also endlessly fun and always a vision of beauty and self expression. She taught me (quite possibly by mistake) to break all the rules, and to will my vision of the world into existence.   

My grandmother possessed a different kind of strength. While I witnessed her experience profound loss, I also watched her stand steady with grace, kindness, plenty of humor and impeccable style. She was undoubtedly the chicest woman in any room, and taught me that elegance isn't only what you wear, but how you carry yourself.

Now, as I step into this new role, a journey, if you will, I carry them with me and let them guide me into bringing something beautiful into the world. Fauna Rae is a brand meant to inspire, connect and, most importantly, last for generations. Where we can celebrate our milestones and individuality today and invest in all the possibilities of the future.
